Compressor Dehumidifiers
A compressor dehumidifier operates by drawing in air from the room. The air first passes through a filter and then over cold coils, similar to those found in a refrigerator. As the coils cool, moisture in the air condenses into water, which drips into a bucket within the unit. After this process, the air is reheated to room temperature and blown back into the room.
Compressor dehumidifiers function effectively in temperatures ranging from 15 to 30 degrees Celsius, with optimum performance typically occurring above 20 degrees Celsius. While they work well in warm conditions, their effectiveness diminishes in cooler temperatures.
