Recycling your old electrical appliances

You can recycle your electrical and electronic appliances free at your local recycling centres.  EcoAir have paid towards the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances for all our customers.  To recycle your old appliance, simply visit recycle-more.co.uk and select the type of appliance in the drop down menu and enter your postcode.

Importance of recycling electrical appliances
Electrical waste is currently the fastest growing waste in the UK and the rate of increase is growing year on year.  All EcoAir's electrical appliances can be recycled.  Recycling your appliances means they do not end up in a landfill.  This helps to reduce environmental and health risks such as water and soil contamination that can be harmful to both humans and wildlife.

How does EcoAir help in recycling
EcoAir is proud to support your local authorities in providing local recycling facilities for electrical appliances.

We are a member of the UK's WEEE Distributor Take-Back Scheme (DTS) that is approved by the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

But what is WEEE?
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment recyling) are items that have a plug or need a battery. You will normally find a WEEE bin symbol on your appliance.
